Is there anything better than sleeping in and then going out to brunch? Weekends sure are awesome. Rob and I recently went to brunch at Bottiglia here in Las Vegas and it was amazing! We had the Cinnamon Bread Pudding as a starter and then I ordered the California Eggs Benedict as my main dish. I didn’t think I liked eggs Benedict for the longest time (maybe I had it as a kid and wasn’t a fan?), but since I’ve become more of an adventurous eater I thought I’d give it a second chance. Let’s just say I’m now obsessed! It’s my go-to breakfast item when we are out. This one had tomato and avocado, which was a great combo. All of their dishes look as good as they taste, too. How cute are the flowers on the bread pudding and in the cocktail?! This was the girliest restaurant I’ve ever been to and I was in heaven! The décor is beautiful and we enjoyed soaking up some sun on the patio as we dined.
As for what to wear to brunch, I always opt for a flowy top or dress. I mean who wants to be sucking it in after indulging in a big meal? Not gonna lie, the button on my high waisted jeans might have been undone when we left (#realtalk). This peplum tank was perfect since it’s light weight and breezy. We were sitting outside and 75 degrees feels pretty hot when you’re in direct sunlight. I decided to dress up my skinny jeans with some blush heels since I knew it was such a cute, girly restaurant. My fashion choices are always influenced by where we’re going. Like if we are going downtown I tend to dress more casual and urban, as evident in this post, but Bottiglia is colorful and airy so it called for light, flowy pieces. Whenever we go out to eat here in Vegas I also bring a light jacket (usually this denim one) because the restaurants are sometimes heavily air-conditioned inside. It might seem annoying to carry around, but you’ll thank me later when you aren’t shivering inside the casinos!
