Save the Date Inspiration

_MG_1936-2-Edit(1)

Now that we have officially set the date, I’ve started the process of picking out our save the date cards and invitations. Since our wedding will be at a farm with rustic decor, I want our save the dates to match the theme of our ceremony and reception as they will be the first impression of our special day. I envision something simple, elegant and country chic. Minted and Wedding Paper Divas have some adorable postcards (pictured below) that fit with the look we are going for. Even though we have more than a year until we say “I do,” I’m so excited to start planning!

date 1

date 2

date 3

date 5

date 6

Do you know of any other cute sites for wedding invites?  Let me know :)

  • Congrats on your engagement & enjoy planning your wedding! A year is definitely a nice amount of time to prepare! Start right away, as you will find there is MUCH to do (I’m sure you are becoming well aware of that fact ;) ) and the more time you have, the better. I have helped with quite a few weddings and it is always a headache when things are left forgotten or un-arraged. So, make sure you have a binder full of ALL your ideas, compile and distribute lists with specific instructions for EVERYONE (trust me, this is a MUST. If you do not write simple instructions, people will mess things up and say you never told them..when we all know, you did!), make sure you show the photographers examples of pictures you want (this is your one and only chance to have those amazing pinterest shots you adore) and don’t hesitate to ask for help. But most of all, have fun! :) Once again, congrats!

    • Thanks! That’s great advice because there definitely is a lot to do!
