Faux deer decor is everywhere this season, from prints on pillows to antler ornaments for Christmas, but why let your home have all of the fun? One of my favorite new fall fashion pieces is this deer print blouse from Ann Taylor. The work-appropriate top is sophisticated, stylish and subtly embraces this trend.
I’ve gradually been trying to mature my wardrobe and replace my college collection with corporate (yet cute) clothing. While doing some window shopping through Town Square, I decided to wander into Ann Taylor after seeing a 50% off sign (I’m a sucker for sales). I was pleasantly surprised by how cute everything was! The last time I had set foot in this store was because my mom dragged my little sister and I in there as kids, so that she could look at the “boring adult clothes.” One time, knowing that this store was coming up on our left, I said, “look at that pretty fountain, Mom!” It worked, she walked right past. However, I now have a great appreciation for the classy, yet trendy attire.
For a fall-inspired ensemble, I paired the silk button-up with burgundy denim and two-toned boots. To up the coziness factor, I topped it off with a faux fur scarf. This outfit makes me want to cuddle up in a cabin with a plaid blanket and drink hot chocolate out of a monogrammed mug. Just one of the many reasons I love fall.
