NYE Party Décor

Last but not least, New Year’s Eve! This holiday season has flown by and I can’t believe we are about to turn the calendar to 2016! Living in Vegas you’d think we’d celebrate by partying on the Strip, but nope, I plan on hosting a little get-together at our house for those of us not wanting to brave the crowds. It won’t be anything fancy, but I loved getting some inspiration from Pinterest. NYE calls for a lot of glitter, metallics and Champagne. Some of my favorite decor items are confetti-filled balloons, tassel garlands and glittery letters.

My favorite color scheme for an NYE party is gold, black and white (and maybe throw in some blush pink!). A tassel garland draped in front of the bar adds a festive touch, especially when paired with the white balloons as it’s pictured above. I also think these DIY fringe party hats from Almost Makes Perfect would be fun to try—they’re a great alternative to the typical NYE headwear you’d find at party stores. And who wouldn’t want to add more shine and gold to their ensemble?!

Hope everyone has a fun and safe New Year’s Eve!

I can’t believe how quickly Christmas passed this year either! We were sick for 2 weeks earlier this month. I love the round up of NYE inspired party things. (behind the ball again with planing our party!)

Love the idea of the glitter balloons! They’d probably be hell to clean up though haha. Love your inspiration, hope your New Year’s is awesome!

  • NYE is my favourite time of year! So cool that you live in Vegas too.

    • It’s a fun place to live :) sometimes too hot and sunny for me, but at least there’s always something new to do!

  • Your NYE plans sound great! I don’t blame you for wanting to stay in. And your decor ideas are so much fun. I’m sure everything will look great!
