Friday Five

Well this turned out to be an eventful week. The car I’ve had since I was 16 finally died, so Rob and I scrambled to find a new (used) car so that I could get to and from work without breaking down in 100-degree weather. It’s not easy finding a car with my Davy Ramsey-obsessed husband who carried around Consumer Reports ratings while we shopped. Although I’m glad he is so fiscally smart, I also want it to look nice and be proud of what I drive. We finally settled on one that I thought was “pretty” enough and also fit in our budget. Although I’m happy with my new ride, it was really hard to say goodbye to my first car and I definitely cried. All is good now though and I’m ready for a relaxing weekend :)

  • Ugh so sorry to hear about your car situation! But at least you got a new one that you feel good about! The brioche look amazing, of course, especially since I’m hungry right now! Ha! Happy friday!!

  • Aw! It’s so sad saying goodbye to your first ride, isn’t it? Glad you were able to find a car that worked for you. Hope you have a great weekend!
