Friday Five

How is it already the end of November?! I’m excited that it’s the holiday season, but I don’t want them to fly by. As I’ve grown older the holidays have become less about presents and more about family, friends and being thankful. I look forward to this time of year because it’s all about spending quality time with loved ones, appreciating the things you have and delighting in the holiday festivities! I’m also not complaining that there are a lot of seasonal treats. Hello, Christmas cookies and peppermint mochas!

eg4{It’s officially time to break out the eggnog! I was pretty pleased by how this eggnog pound cake turned out. And by pretty pleased, I mean I couldn’t stop eating it.}

2{I was invited to do some styling at the grand opening of Apricot Lane at Fashion Show Mall and had such a fun time. They even had sweet treats and pumpkin sangria!}

IMG_3518{Since I couldn’t wait any longer, I started decorating our tree. One of our traditions is to buy a Christmas ornament on each trip that we go on throughout the year. So far we have collected them from Cabo, San Diego and Leavenworth in Washington.}
