One of my favorite blogs to follow is Cupcakes and Cashmere. Emily shares creative crafts, trendy outfits, sweet treats and much more. After reading her post about making her own ring trays, I decided to give it a try. I have been looking for a convenient, yet aesthetically pleasing way to store jewelry and this project has proved to be the perfect solution for dainty rings and earrings. These simple, delicate trays can be scattered around the house, from your bedside table to the kitchen counter, and are both practical and pretty!
All you need is a brick of oven-bake clay, a round cookie cutter and stamps. I also used the lace trim on the edge of a metal pail from the dollar aisle of Target to get the geometric look.
The appearance won’t change after baking, so make sure it looks good because that is the soon-to-be finished product. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 275F, or as directed on the package of clay.
