Boutique of the Week: Boutiqueaholics

Because of my passion for fashion and particular interest in boutiques, I have decided to create a new series called “Boutique of the Week” in which I will highlight my favorite places to shop for fashion-forward clothing. It’s fitting for Boutiqueaholics to be the first one featured because it is a boutique that is home to numerous other boutiques. Located in Downtown Las Vegas’ Container Park, this stylish store boasts a variety of trendy pieces from local shops and fashion lines from around the world.

boutiqueMy love for boutiques began when I worked at Peridot Boutique after I graduated from college. I loved everything about it, including the visual merchandising, buying and marketing. My dream is to open my own store one day, but until the time is right, I want to highlight some of my favorite boutiques through Treats and Trends.

boutique 2Leah Stanton, the owner of Boutiqueaholics, has an eye for trendy styles and brings fashionable and affordable designs to Las Vegas. Her creative concept allows women to discover the best boutiques the world has to offer in one unique location. There is something for every girl and every occasion. You will currently find a variety of transitional pieces that can be worn during both summer and fall. Below are three of my favorite fall trends.

IMG_6016{1} Dark Florals. Feminine florals aren’t just for spring and summer. In a deeper palette, they can become a fall staple, as well. Darker hues, such as burgundy and forest green, make the pretty print appropriate for the cooler seasons.

IMG_6017{2} Peplum. The figure-flattering style is still in for fall (even People StyleWatch says so!) and these mesh cut outs create a sexy, modern look. Pair it with a leather pencil skirt for an edgy ensemble or with floral denim to soften the style.

{3} Statement accessories. Standout jewelry can take an outfit from simple to sensational and I’m not just talking about a colorful statement necklace. Quirky or personalized pieces, like this unique bracelet, are a fun way to express yourself and make your look very “you.”

I also love these necklaces that show pride for your home state. If only there was Washington…
